The above figure is based on the number of forecasts made for E Honshu throughout year 2012 based on the lunar and solar orbits and the resulting acceleration forces on the tectonic plates - correlating past earthquake events with particular conditions on an hourly basis. Although it is likely that the strong events will have forecasts on that day, this applies to many other days - so that the deviation from the average number of forecasts is used to interpret the trend - as can be seen from the above we can expect some increased activity in last week of October and near the end of the year in December
